Judy Reese Morse, Co-Chair

Judy Reese Morse is the Chief of Staff in the Office of Lieutenant Governor Mitch Landrieu. In this role, she oversees the LA Serve Commission, Encore Louisiana Commission, International Relations and Legislative Outreach. She is the chief liaison with the executive management team in the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, which is overseen by the Lt. Governor’s Office. She is also the Lt. Governor’s designee on the State Bond Commission and the state’s Interim Emergency Board. Morse has worked with the Lt. Governor’s office since January 2004.

Doug Thornton is a Senior Vice President for SMG, the management company that operates the Louisiana Superdome and the New Orleans Arena. In his current position, he currently oversees the operation of several SMG facilities in the Gulf Coast region.
